Home insulation is one of the cheapest and most effective ways of keeping your house warmer in winter months. Without effective loft insulation, up to 25% of the heat in your home escapes through your roof, and another 35% could be wasted if you don’t have cavity wall insulation.
As a leading installer of home insulation products, West Yorkshire Gas Solutions can access free government-backed insulation grants. This means your loft insulation or cavity wall insulation might be 100% free (subject to personal and property status).
We provide the following Insulation measures:
Suspended timber floors can be insulated using Mineral wool supported by netting between the joists.
We have 3 methods of retrofitting this type of insulation:
- From a basement below by insulating the between the joists on the ceiling.
- If your property has a crawl space with a depth of at least 0.5 mtrs then our operatives can go underneath your floor.
- Alternatively, we can remove floorboards at 1 mtr intervals and install netting and insulation from above.
