What happens during the survey.
Answer:
If you are interested, we will arrange for a FREE survey of your property. The surveyor will have to take several photos both inside and outside your property. They will also have to make a few test drill holes into your cavity so that they can take pictures of the inside of your cavity . Any holes will be filled in by the surveyor. There will be 3 forms to sign which will allow us to access the funding for the work. The survey will probably take around 30 minutes.
Question:
What happens during the install ?
Answer: The fitters will need access inside your property for approximately 5 minutes both before and after the installation to check the suitability. The rest of the work will be outside and will involve the fitters drilling a series of holes through the mortar in a pre-determined pattern. Then they fill fill the cavity with a product called Technitherm (Further details of this product can be found HERE). Finally, they will fill the holes with a mortar mix that will match the existing colour as close as possible.
